"I don't know why anybody would buy those clumsy silicone gloves when they have access to these units. Superior in every way. I LOVE their extended length! Reaching over a blazing grill can be an unpleasant experience on the forearm in shorter, "regular" size gloves. Not a problem with these. All five fingers can move independently, much better than mitts. They are kinda "thick" at first, slightly hindering maneuverability but that's to be expected. A first-class product".

"I use these gloves constantly when I BBQ. I dont know why I never bought a pair sooner. I am able to grab hot logs and also the grill. The gloves will get hot over time, but you need to keep in mind that they are not meant to hold extremely hot items past 10 seconds. Standard hot times you can hold longer. The only down side is that they will hold the smoke smell for a while, but eventually goes away or dies down".

"Great fit, and perform exactly as advertised. Also, they come with instructions for use so that you don't accidentally misuse them and try to hold something too hot for too long, they give very clear instructions on how long it will take for heat to pass through. I love the gloves and they followup with an e-mail to you through Amazon that gives very clear cleaning instructions.
Also great for use when baking in the kitchen or anytime you are near something hot. I've not used them in this fashion, but I would think they would also be great when working around your fireplace or wood burner in the winter months".
